Grid System as Backbone of Every Good Design. Part 1 Response

I never really thought much about columns in a newspaper or magazine and why they were layed out the way they were. Reading the article “Grid System as Backbone of Every Good Design. Part 1” was very interesting and i enjoyed getting to learn more about how design works. I thought it was cool that a women came up with the 12 column page. I like learning about women who have made advancements in the field i plan to go into, it is inspiring. Also, it is important to know about the backbone of design since its used in everything. If you do not have a grid your work will likely not be as good as a design with a grid. I also thought it was interesting to read about how magazines were made before. The amount of time and detail it would require to make one copy is insane.
